Benefix needed support, guidance, and security experience as a young start-up to help their team through the SOC 2 journey. Additionally, previous compliance experience without a partner resulted in more effort required and a longer timeline to complete an audit. Recognizing SOC 2 as vital for their business growth, Benefix needed to streamline the process and fast-track their compliance journey.

Solution

Having worked with Thoropass (called Laika at the time) previously to obtain their SOC 2 Type 1, Benefix decided to continue the partnership in an effort to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 compliance as quickly and effectively as possible. Benefix renewed their contract with Thoropass, and were off to the races.

Benefix’s audit went exceptionally well, and their report was ready only eight days after the official kick-off! Thanks to Thoropass’s comprehensive platform and supportive team, Benefix passed both SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 and are currently working with Thoropass partner, Un1quely, for their penetration testing.
